David Imamura is an Associate at Abrams Fensterman, LLP and a member of the Civil Litigation and White-Collar Criminal defense practice groups working out of the firm’s White Plains office. His practice also includes New York State Election, Campaign Finance, and Voting Rights law. An Irvington Democrat, Mr. Imamura has made history by becoming the first Asian American to win a seat on the Westchester County Board of Legislators. A lifelong Westchester resident, he won the board’s 12th District seat, replacing MaryJane Shimsky who left the board this year after winning a seat in the 92nd state Assembly District. The 12th District represents Ardsley, Dobbs Ferry, Edgemont, Hartsdale, Hastings-on-Hudson and Irvington.  Imamura declared his victory on Tuesday after the polls closed.
