It's that time of the year again!
Your legal team at Abrams Fensterman is committed to providing you with timely information and expert counsel on new laws and policies, and in-depth analysis of a wide range of legal issues that affect your business. New York law requires that you update and provide to each employee a notice of acknowledgment of wage rate no later than February 1st of each year. Most businesses choose to update these notices in January. You should retain a signed copy for six years.
This is also a good time of the year to update your policies and handbooks. Please let us know if we can help you with the revisions, or with any questions you may have.
