Shaina Jones Magrone

Shaina Jones Magrone is a Partner in the Trusts & Estates Practice Group at Abrams Fensterman LLP.  Ms. Jones Magrone concentrates her practice in comprehensive estate planning and wealth transfer and preservation, which includes tax planning, asset protection planning, and business succession planning.  She also focuses on estate and trust administration.  Ms. Jones Magrone’s philosophy is to partner with her clients to protect and preserve their legacy and the creation or continuation of generational wealth.

Ms. Jones Magrone began her legal career as a civil and criminal trial attorney working zealously to achieve the best outcome for her clients. It was as a trial attorney that Ms. Jones Magrone first honed her counseling skills. Representing clients at a time when something had gone wrong in their lives allowed her to gain understanding of the changes that would have saved them from criminal court or civil litigation. Ms. Jones Magrone turned that hindsight into foresight when she transitioned away from representing clients at trial and turned working with families and business owners on their estate planning and business planning needs.

Prior to joining Abrams Fensterman, Ms. Jones Magrone served as Founder and Managing Attorney of a boutique estate planning and business planning firm.  She has previously served as an Intellectual Property Attorney for a Fortune 500 company, a Civil Litigation Attorney in New York, and an Assistant Defender for the Defender Association of Philadelphia.

Ms. Jones Magrone earned her Juris Doctor from Temple Law School and a Master of Law Degree in Intellectual Property from Cardozo Law School.  She earned her undergraduate degree from the School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University.  Ms. Jones Magrone is an avid traveler and lover of languages.  She speaks Spanish fluently and has a working knowledge of French, Italian and Portuguese.
