Aaron Schlusselberg is a Partner in the Real Estate department at Abrams Fensterman, LLP, working out of the firm’s Long Island office.
Aaron represents owners, developers, investors, and lenders in a broad range of commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, financings, and leasing matters.
Aaron has extensive experience advising owners, developers, investors, borrowers, and lenders on sophisticated commercial real estate transactions involving multi-family, office, healthcare, mixed-use, and investment properties, with particular experience in acquisitions, dispositions, refinancing, joint ventures, and complex financing structures.
Aaron has represented clients in commercial real estate transactions collectively valued at hundreds of millions of dollars, advising on acquisitions, dispositions, refinancing transactions, and secured financings involving multi-family, office, healthcare, and mixed-use properties throughout New York and across the United States. His experience includes negotiating purchase and sale agreements, mortgage and preferred equity financing, joint venture structures, 1031 exchange transactions, sale-leasebacks, and sophisticated debt restructurings.
Aaron regularly counsels developers, institutional and private investors, borrowers, lenders, and healthcare operators through every stage of a transaction. His representative matters include acquisitions valued at up to $85 million, multi-state portfolio transactions, complex refinancing involving senior and preferred equity lenders, healthcare real estate acquisitions, and financing for commercial developments. Drawing on his legal and finance background, Aaron provides practical, business-focused counsel that helps clients efficiently close transactions while protecting their long-term investment objectives.
Prior to joining Abrams Fensterman, Aaron practiced at boutique real estate law firms in Long Island and Brooklyn.
Aaron received a Juris Doctorate from Hofstra University School of Law, with a Real Estate concentration, and earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the Sy Syms School of Business at Yeshiva University. Aaron is admitted to practice law in New York.
