David Imamura to Join New York Voting Rights Act Panel
Abrams Fensterman Partner and Voting Rights Practice Director David Imamura will be a featured speaker for Empire State of Mind: The New York State Voting Rights Act, a virtual educational discussion presented by the Let NY Vote coalition on Wednesday, September 30.
The panel will provide an overview of federal and New York voting-rights protections, examine their impact on access to the ballot, address the implications of potential changes to Section 2 of the federal Voting Rights Act, and explore solutions to challenges affecting voting rights and representation for communities of color.
The educational discussion will be moderated by Jeffrey M. Wice of the N.Y. Elections, Census & Redistricting Institute at New York Law School and will feature:

- Jerry Vattamala – Office of the New York State Attorney General
