For more than 30 years, Doug has dedicated his career to helping hospitals, healthcare providers, psychiatric facilities, individuals, and families navigate New York’s most complex Mental Hygiene Law matters. His practice encompasses psychiatric crisis intervention, guardianship proceedings, involuntary treatment, capacity and informed consent issues, Assisted Outpatient Treatment (Kendra’s Law), and mental health-related civil and criminal litigation.
