The Brooklyn Bar Association is hosting a Continuing Legal Education seminar on the recent changes to the New York State Property Condition Disclosure Law, which will take effect on March 20, 2024.
The seminar will be led by a panel featuring Abrams Fensterman Partners, Lawrence DiGiovanna and Mark Caruso, with the addition of Hon. Philip Stranieri, the former supervising judge of the Civil Court in Richmond County. They will explore the recent amendments to the law that has been in place since 2002, including significant changes like the $500 seller opt-out fee and new requirements about disclosing a property’s flood history and flood insurance.
The session is scheduled for March 5, from 5 to 7 p.m. and will be available both in-person and online via Zoom. The CLE will qualify for 2 Professional Practice Credits.
