Abrams Fensterman is proud to announce that Amanda Rieben, Partner in our Family and Matrimonial Law Practice, has been elected as Vice President of the Women’s Bar Association of the State of New York (WBASNY). With over 4,000 members across the state, WBASNY is the largest statewide bar association in the United States dedicated to the advancement of women in the legal profession and society at large.

 

Amanda’s election to this esteemed role is a testament to her leadership, advocacy, and deep commitment to issues affecting women, children, and families. Having served as Immediate Past-President of the Westchester Women’s Bar Association (WWBA), a recognized chapter of WBASNY, and as a State Director, she has long been a driving force in legal and policy initiatives aimed at protecting and empowering women.

 

Amanda’s distinguished career includes her work as the Director of the Walk-In Legal Clinic at the Pace Women’s Justice Center, where she provided pro bono legal assistance to victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, and elder abuse. Her dedication to family law and advocacy continues to shape the legal landscape in New York.

 

Amanda will be sworn in as Vice President of WBASNY at the Annual Convention which is being held from May 15 th through 18 th at the Watkins Glen Harbor in Watkins Glen, New York. Abrams Fensterman is honored to be a sponsor at this year’s convention and having provided in-kind donations and a journal advertisements.
