Taylor R. Slotin is an associate at Abrams Fensterman, LLP., practicing exclusively within the areas of matrimonial and family law.

Taylor is a dedicated matrimonial attorney known for strong advocacy, strategic negotiation, and a practical approach to resolving complex, high-net-worth, family law matters.

Prior to entering matrimonial practice, Taylor served for five years as an Assistant District Attorney in Queens County, in the Felony Trial Division. In that role, she handled numerous hearings and trials, including both bench and jury trials. She developed a reputation as a strong litigant and effective courtroom advocate. Her work also included prosecuting domestic violence cases, requiring not only precision and skill in the courtroom, but also empathy and sensitivity toward vulnerable individuals.

In her matrimonial practice, Taylor is a strong negotiator who understands the practical realities her clients face. She combines litigation strength with thoughtful, solution-oriented counsel, ensuring her clients are both well-represented and well-prepared. Her thoughtfulness, compassion, and dedication make her an invaluable asset in navigating the often contentious issues surrounding marriage and family.

Taylor earned her J.D. from New York Law School in 2021, where she served on the executive board of the Student Bar Association, was a founding and executive board member of the Family Law Society, competed on the trial competition team, and volunteered with the Courtroom Advocates Project (CAP), assisting survivors of domestic violence in New York City Family Courts with obtaining orders of protection and filing family offense petitions. Taylor graduated from the University of Georgia in 2018 with a Bachelor of Business Administration from the Terry College of Business.

Taylor was admitted to practice law in the State of New York in 2022. She is a member of the New York State Bar Association – Family Law Section, serving on the Family Law Child Custody Committee and Family Law Young Lawyer Engagement Committee.
