Amanda E. Benzenberg is an Associate at Abrams Fensterman in the Matrimonial and Family Law department. Amanda represents clients in matters involving divorce, custody, support, property division, orders of protection, and post-judgment proceedings.
Amanda prioritizes out-of-court settlement whenever possible. Amanda’s focus is guiding clients through a difficult period in their lives and assisting them in reaching a resolution that best suits their particular needs. She prides herself on being a zealous advocate for her clients, while also being empathetic to their unique circumstances.
Amanda earned her Juris Doctorate from New York Law School where she served as Vice Chair of the Moot Court Association and Training Coordinator of the Dispute Resolution Team. She received the New York Law School Moot Court Award for Serving with Distinction and the Moot Court Award for Order of Barristers. She graduated from Penn State University with a concentration in Communications Arts & Sciences and a minor in Sociology and International Studies.
Since her admission to the New York State Bar, Ms. Benzenberg has focused her practice exclusively on matrimonial and family law. Ms. Benzenberg is a member of both the New York State Bar Association and the Nassau County Bar Association.
