Michael B. Richards Recognized on the Floor of the U.S. House of Representatives for Leadership Supporting Local Journalism

Abrams Fensterman is proud to congratulate White Plains Associate Michael B. Richards on being recognized on the floor of the U.S. House of Representatives by Congressman George Latimer (NY-16) for his leadership and service to The Hudson Independent, the online news publication of the Hudson Valley News Foundation.

Michael has served on the Foundation’s Board of Directors since its founding in 2019 and has provided pro bono legal counsel to the organization, including assisting it in obtaining federal tax-exempt status.

During his remarks, Congressman Latimer recognized Michael alongside the Foundation’s leadership for helping guide The Hudson Independent and praised the publication’s commitment to fair, accurate community journalism serving the Rivertowns of Westchester County.

Congratulations to Michael on this well-deserved recognition and his continued dedication to strengthening the Hudson Valley community.
