Abrams Fensterman Partner Justin T. Kelton, Co-Chair of the firm’s Litigation Department, was quoted in The New York Times regarding a newly filed lawsuit by the City of New York and the Department of Consumer and Worker Protection against two Brooklyn dental practices.
The lawsuit asserts claims under the New York City Consumer Protection Law (NYC Code § 20-700, et seq.) involving alleged advertising and representations on the practices’ websites and in communication with their patients, the use of third-party credit and financing products, and various insurance coverage issues. The allegations have not been proven in court.
