Sara Player is an Associate at Abrams, Fensterman, Fensterman, Eisman, Formato, Ferrara, Wolf & Carone, LLP and a member of the Health Law Practice Group.
Prior to joining Abrams Fensterman, Ms. Player co-founded a commercial real estate data company and upon admission to the Bar continued as in-house counsel with the company. Upon raising private equity in the company and negotiating a successful partnership with a major international corporation based in California, she also managed the international expansion of the company. Ms. Player has experience in strategic business development, negotiating partnerships and joint ventures, as well as drafting an array of contracts, from operating and shareholder agreements to license and service agreements, to which she brings creativity and precision to tailor each contract to the particular needs of the transaction and business.
During law school, Ms. Player was a paralegal in financial services litigation in a top tier law firm in Sydney, Australia where she managed financial litigation files at every stage, from beginning to end, for the top four major banks in the country.
Ms. Player earned her law degree from the University of New South Wales Law School, where she concentrated on banking law, land dealings, and conflicts of law. She also served as Senior Moot Court Coordinator of the University of New South Wales Law School, as well as a judge of the Moot Court Competition. Ms. Player earned her Bachelors of Arts in Biology and minor in Sociology from Binghamton University, where she made Harpur College Dean’s List and received an academic scholarship.
