Carolyn Reinach Wolf, Executive Partner at Abrams Fensterman and Director of the firm’s Mental Health Law Practice, was the featured speaker at a recent Continuing Legal Education (CLE) seminar hosted by the Albany County Bar Association. The one-hour program addressed the unique ethical considerations attorneys face when representing clients with special mental health needs.
The program focused on three key areas:
- Ensuring competent representation for clients with special mental health needs
- Addressing confidentiality and privilege concerns
- Avoiding bias and ensuring fair treatment in legal proceedings
Carolyn’s insights drew on her national leadership in the field of mental health law, where she routinely advises families, hospitals, and institutions on capacity, risk, ethics, and the legal coordination of care.
