Abrams Fensterman recently hosted the Kings County Democratic County Committee Volunteer Appreciation Dinner at the firm’s Downtown Brooklyn office at 1 Metrotech Center. The event brought together volunteers, district leaders, and members of the Kings County Democratic Party Law Committee to recognize the individuals who support petitioning efforts, conventions, and civic initiatives throughout the year.
Brooklyn Democratic Party Chair and Assembly member, Rodneyse Bichotte Hermelyn, thanked volunteers for their continued dedication and emphasized the importance of teamwork in the year ahead, noting that the organization faces a challenging road and will rely on the same collaborative spirit that has sustained it in prior years.
Hon. Frank Seddio, Commissioner of the New York City Board of Elections and Chairman Emeritus of the Kings County Democratic Party, described volunteers as “the lifeblood of our organization,” underscoring the vital role civic participation plays in the democratic process.
Certificates of Appreciation were presented to volunteers and longstanding members of the Law Committee, reflecting both gratitude for past efforts and commitment to continued public service.
Thank you to the Brooklyn Eagle for highlighting the event.
