Abrams Fensterman, LLP is proud to announce that Grace M. Borrino, a Partner in the firm’s Matrimonial and Family Law Practice, will be sworn in as President of the Columbian Lawyers Association of Brooklyn in June 2026, further underscoring the firm’s longstanding leadership presence within Brooklyn’s legal community.
Grace’s upcoming presidency follows her leadership role at the Columbian Lawyers Association of Brooklyn’s annual Judiciary Night, one of the organization’s most respected traditions emphasizing collegiality and engagement between members of the bench and bar. The event, recently featured in the Brooklyn Daily Eagle, was organized by Grace in her capacity as Vice President—an important responsibility traditionally entrusted to the association’s incoming president.
Held at Gargiulo’s Restaurant, Judiciary Night is intentionally designed without formal speeches, fostering open dialogue and meaningful interaction among judges and attorneys. Grace’s stewardship of the evening offered an early demonstration of her leadership as she prepares to assume the presidency.
Reflecting on her leadership role at Judiciary Night, Grace shared,
“This is a great opportunity for us to mingle with the judges. I love that they celebrate the camaraderie between the judiciary and the attorneys.”
Grace’s rise reflects a distinguished leadership lineage at Abrams Fensterman and within Brooklyn’s bar associations. She has been mentored by RoseAnn C. Branda, Executive Partner at Abrams Fensterman and a former President of the Columbian Lawyers Association of Brooklyn and the Bay Ridge Lawyers Association—an example of the firm’s deep-rooted commitment to professional service and institutional leadership.
Grace practices exclusively in matrimonial and family law and has been recognized as a New York Metro Super Lawyer in Family Law since 2023, following multiple years as a Rising Star. Her bar involvement spans nearly two decades and includes service as a former President of the Bay Ridge Lawyers Association and leadership roles across several prominent Brooklyn legal organizations.
Abrams Fensterman congratulates Grace on this significant milestone and remains proud of its continued representation and leadership within the Columbian Lawyers Association of Brooklyn and the broader Brooklyn legal community.
