Mark Goreczny is an Associate with Abrams, Fensterman, Fensterman, Eisman, Formato, Ferrara, Wolf & Carone, LLP in the firm’s White Plains office. He is a member of the firm’s litigation department and focuses his practice primarily on defending municipal entities.
Most recently, Mr. Goreczny served as the Assistant Law Clerk to an Appellate Division Justice for the Second Department, where he researched and analyzed legal issues in a variety of civil and criminal appeals to assist in preparing for appellate arguments and drafting decisions.
Mr. Goreczny also served as an Assistant Corporation Counsel for the New York City Law Department. There, he defended the City of New York in a wide range of tort claims. He has extensive courtroom experience at all stages of litigation, including routinely conducting discovery conferences and depositions, as well as engaging in motion practice and oral argument.
Prior to becoming an attorney, Mr. Goreczny managed a non-profit program in New York City that focused on preventative poverty services, education, and advocacy around the areas of health and hunger.
