Andrew S. Ferguson

Andrew S. Ferguson is an Associate at Abrams, Fensterman, Fensterman, Eisman, Formato, Ferrara, Wolf & Carone, LLP. Mr. Ferguson focuses his practice in the area of Medicaid.
Prior to joining Abrams Fensterman, Mr. Ferguson worked at a boutique firm in Manhattan that represents both individuals and corporations in all areas of civil litigation with special concentration in commercial and employment litigation. He also handled real estate disputes, contract disputes, business disputes, as well as personal injury litigation.
Mr. Ferguson earned his J.D. degree from Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University, where he was a clinical intern at the Community and Economic Development Clinic. In the Spring of 2017, he was a Semifinalist in the Dispute Resolution Society’s Negotiations competition. As a result of his outstanding performance, he was selected to represent Hofstra Law School at the 2017 National Black Law Students Association-Negotiations Competition where he successfully competed against some of the best law schools throughout the nation, winning 3rd place nationally. He was also a Legal Intern with the New York State Division of Housing and Community Renewal (DHCR), Tenant Protection Unit where he was heavily involved with rent regulation law, landlord/tenant law, and administrative law and a Clinical Intern with the Community and Economic Development Clinic at Hofstra Law School where he practiced non-profit corporation law. Mr. Ferguson received his B.A. and M.A. in Sociology from St. John’s University.
Mr. Ferguson is admitted to practice in the state of New York and is a member of the New York State and Nassau County Bar Associations.
