Stacey J. Lipitz is an associate at Abrams, Fensterman, Fensterman, Eisman, Greenberg, Formato & Einiger, LLP.
Ms. Lipitz focuses her practice on a broad range of health law issues, and works with health care professionals involving regulatory compliance, Stark and mini-Stark analysis, licensure matters, managed care disputes, HIPAA compliance and compliance with health care statutes and corporate formation and structure.
Prior to joining Abrams, Fensterman et al as an associate, Ms. Lipitz served as a law clerk at the firm. During law school, Ms. Lipitz also completed an internship at Saint Vincent Catholic Medical Center, where she reviewed managed care contracts, employment contracts and other miscellaneous contracts for the Hospital. She also participated in the purchase, sale, and dissolution of the hospital's professional corporations, as well as drafted a policy outlining Stark and Anti-kickback laws for the hospital system.
Ms. Lipitz received her J.D. from Brooklyn Law School in 2007 where she received the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Professional Responsibility, and her B.S. with Honors from Cornell University in 2004. She also received a Certificate in Gerontology, and completed an Honors thesis entitled, Elder Abuse: An Assessment of Mandatory Reporting Laws.
Ms. Lipitz is currently a member of the American Health Lawyers Association, as well as the New Jersey Bar Association, Health and Hospital Law Section.
Ms. Lipitz is licensed to practice law in New York and New Jersey.
