Man of the Year
Hewlett's Howard S. Fensterman, managing partner of Abrams Fensterman LLP, was named the 2011 Man of the Year by the Board of Trustees of the Crohn's & Colitis Foundation, Long Island Chapter.
Fensterman, who has served on the CCFA's board for nearly two decades, has helped to raise a substantial amount of money for research and awareness of the diseases.
He will be recognized at the chapter's annual Spring Comedy event, "Laugh 'til it Stops Hurting," on May 20 at the Glen Oaks Country Club in Old Westbury that will feature comedienne Joan Rivers.
The Long Island Chapter of CCFA provides services to the estimated 30,000 Long Islanders who suffer from Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis through education and outreach support.
