Mr. Chester represents nursing facilities and private individuals in the aspect of processing and obtaining third party benefits, including Medicaid. Mr. Chester works closely with nursing facility staff to assure accurate completion of all phases of Medicaid compliance, including response to demands for document production and reconsideration.
Prior to joining Abrams, Fensterman, Mr. Chester was a law clerk at an Albany law firm where he handled Medicaid litigation matters, including Article 78 proceedings. He also worked at the NYC Human Resources Administration Office of Legal Affairs, Litigation unit, where he assisted with liens and recovery for Medicaid.
Mr. Chester received his J.D. from Albany Law School, where he graduated cum laude and was a recipient of the Founders Scholarship. He received his B.A. from the University at Albany, cum laude. Mr. Chester is a member of the New York State Bar Association.
