Neil S. Maxwell is a partner at Abrams, Fensterman, Fensterman, Eisman, Greenberg, Formato, & Einiger LLP.
Mr. Maxwell has extensive experience in counseling physicians and other health care clients on legal, business, and regulatory issues affecting aspects of their professional practices and operations, including the structuring, negotiation and preparation of asset and stock sale agreements, provider group arrangements, shareholder and operating agreements, private practice and hospital employment contracts, employer/employee relations, office leases, management contracts, as well as advice regarding federal and state regulatory compliance, fee-splitting, corporate practice, anti-kickback and self-referral laws and regulations.
In addition to his representation of individual healthcare practices and group/multi-specialty practices, Mr. Maxwell provides counsel to New York State Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Licensees, Article 28 licensed diagnostic and treatment centers/ambulatory surgery centers and independent practice associations.
Mr. Maxwell is a graduate of Brandeis University and Boston University School of Law.
