Susan Mauro is an associate at Abrams, Fensterman, Fensterman, Eisman, Formato, Ferrara & Einiger, LLP.

Ms. Mauro is responsible for all aspects of the Health Care Collection and Reimbursement Recovery Department’s litigation functions, including conducting trials, inquests and depositions; attending court conferences, oral arguments, hearings and mediations/arbitrations; preparing pleadings, discovery and motions; and participating in settlement negotiations.

Prior to joining Abrams Fensterman in September of 2006, Ms. Mauro gained experience in numerous areas of the law including handling a broad range of matrimonial and family law cases and litigating all aspects of diversified civil defense and plaintiff cases. Prior to receiving her J.D., Ms. Mauro worked as a Paralegal Specialist in the United States Attorney’s Office, Eastern District of New York, in the Criminal Division’s Narcotics Unit.

Ms. Mauro earned her J.D. in 1996 from New York Law School and her B.S. in 1991 from St. John’s University.
