Karla Damico Wilsey is a partner at Abrams, Fensterman, Fensterman, Eisman, Formato, Ferrara & Einiger, LLP.
Ms. Wilsey’s practice focuses on estate planning and administration, real estate transactions, and legal matters affecting businesses. As a former general counsel and executive officer, she has over 20 years of practical business management and in-house legal experience leading the expansion of closely-held companies with local, national and international operations and several hundred employees. She also served as corporate counsel and a senior executive with a Fortune-300 company. Her diverse business experience ranges from business start-up to spin-off, mergers, acquisitions, sale, joint ventures, planning and development of new business units, and includes regulatory compliance, employment issues, operational contracts and real estate.
Ms. Wilsey is a member of the New York State and Monroe County Bar Associations, and is also a member of the Greater Rochester Association of Women Attorneys. Ms. Wilsey serves as Vice-Chair of the New York State Conference of Bar Leaders for the New York State Bar Association.
She is a board member of Monroe County Industrial Development Corporation and the Mental Health Association of Rochester, where she is Co-Chair of the Resource Development Committee. She has served as treasurer, secretary and strategic planning chairperson for the 2,000-member Monroe County Bar Association. Ms. Wilsey was recognized by the Monroe County Bar Association with the President's Award for her leadership in Strategic Planning.
Ms. Wilsey is licensed to practice law in the State of New York.
She is a graduate of State University of New York Buffalo School of Law and Hobart and William Smith Colleges.
