Michael L. Gurman is an associate in the Healthcare Law practice at Abrams, Fensterman, Fensterman, Eisman, Formato, Ferrara & Einiger, LLP.
Mr. Gurman represents healthcare facilities, providers and organizations in a wide variety of legal matters, including regulatory compliance, managed care contracting, fraud and abuse, licensing, billing and claims issues, transactional arrangements and health insurance audits.
Prior to joining Abrams Fensterman, Mr. Gurman held several law clerk positions, concentrating in the areas of bankruptcy, corporate real estate, and contract law. During law school, Mr. Gurman also participated in the American Journal of Law & Medicine, Esdaile Appellate Moot Court, ABA Negotiation Competition, and Communications Entertainment Sports Law Association.
Mr. Gurman earned his B.S. from the University of Massachusetts, Isenberg School of Management and his J.D. from Boston University School of Law. Mr. Gurman is admitted to practice law in New York, New Jersey and the District of New Jersey.
