Mark Frimmel is a partner at Abrams, Fensterman, Fensterman, Eisman, Formato, Ferrara & Einiger, LLP and chairman of the firm’s Real Estate Law Department.
Mr. Frimmel handles all aspects of the firm's diverse real estate practice. He represents real estate owners and developers in all aspects of real estate acquisitions and development. He also represents landlords and tenants in retail, restaurant, office and industrial leases. He also advises commercial and residential mortgage lenders and borrowers.
Additionally, Mr. Frimmel has extensive experience in the representation of cooperative and condominium housing associations. He has also counseled debtors and creditors in Chapter 7, 11 and 13 bankruptcy proceedings, and advised Chapter 7 Panel Trustees in asset recovery actions, adversary proceedings and other contested matters.
Mr. Frimmel is a member of the New York State Bar Association, Association of the Bar of the City of New York, and the Nassau County Bar Association. He has served on numerous committees and has held many leadership roles, including the Cooperative/Condominium Law Committee and the Real Property Law Committee of the Association of the Bar of the City of New York; Of Counsel, The Real Estate Board of New York Subcommittee On Existing Housing; Hearing Officer, County of Nassau, Small Claims Assessment Review; Panelist in Fundamentals of Bankruptcy Law, The Nassau Academy of Law; and Member of the Nassau County Volunteer Lawyers Project. He currently serves on the Real Property Law Committee of the New York State Bar Association and the Real Property Law Committee of the Nassau County Bar Association.
Mr. Frimmel received his B.A. from the State University of New York at Stony Brook and his J.D. from Fordham University School of Law, where he was the recipient of the American Jurisprudence Award for Civil Procedure. He is admitted to practice in the State of New York, the Supreme Court of the United States of America and the District Courts for the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York.
